Registered in 2022, this Nimbus T11 differ from similar models by both utilitarian and luxurious features, from the distinctive T-top, thick gray rubber bow to aft, to the wide tip of the bow. The small cabin in the superstructure just barely protrudes above the sides of the hull, merged with the windshield, which is so tall but still provides space for a small opening between the T-top and the glass.

 

On the main deck, it becomes immediately obvious this is a walkaround model with spacious side aisles, with open view from the dining table and the aft sun deck. The folding table is surrounded by a semi-circular sofa and two smaller seats coming together in a larger U-shaped sofa, and the side benches can rotate by 90 degrees to turn into additional bow-facing seats, or two additional seats serving the dining table.

 

There is also a bar, between the T-top pillars, with a kitchen sink, two refrigerators and an electric kettle, just enough for short trips. Astern, the sundeck hides a spacious storage room, that on the inboard version houses the engines.At the very stern, there are two platforms and two outboard engines. The bow is reserved for the superstructure, with a sundeck on top, and a forward-facing seat hiding the entrance to the cabin.

 

The cockpit can be almost completely closed by side awnings, and this owner who prefer a closed cockpit opted for the T11 instead of the C11. The control panel is elegant and simple, with black buttons and switches, and all instruments integrated on two Simrad touchscreens and one smaller screen for managing engine and trim. The popular joystick allows easy maneuvering in marinas, with separate controls for the bow propeller and two engine throttle levers.  

 

Powered by two Mercury Verado 300-hp engines, the new Nimbus T11 is a lively boat that glides along at about 15 knots, with an optimal cruising speed about 24 knots at 4200 rpm (78 l/h). The maximum speed we achieved on our trial was 41 knots at 6000 rpm (180 l/h).
